Hi all! I’m Lizzy, the founder of Happy Paws Pet Sitting and a Clinical Psy.D student at Nova Southeastern University. I started this business in 2020 when I was 15 out of a deep love for animals and a vision to create a warm, home-like space where every pet feels safe and loved.
From the very beginning, my mom, Diana, along with my dad and brother, have been right beside me—supporting this dream with dedication, care, and lots of heart. Together, we’ve created a cage-free, personalized environment where your pet is treated like family. Culturally, we are proud to be Colombian, and family is at the center of everything we do. Our golden retriever Lola, sweet and playful, is part of our family and team—she loves welcoming new doggy friends! Out of love for connection and culture, I also learned Portuguese, inspired by my passion for the language and the beautiful people I’ve met through this journey.
